The School of Mathematics, Science and Technology Education has facilities in terms of its building, S-Block, on the Kelvin Grove Campus of QUT.
S-Block was refurbished in 2004/5 and has three floors with specialist curriculum rooms.
- Level 1:
- staff offices, a specialist secondary Chemistry curriculum room, and a general purpose Biology curriculum room.
- Level 2:
- staff offices, specialist Primary Science Design & Technology, Earth Science/Physics/Design & Technology and Primary Science curriculum rooms, a general purpose seminar room.
- Level 3:
- staff offices, 3 specialist ICT curriculum rooms and 2 specialist mathematics curriculum rooms, including one new interactive
whiteboard.
- Level 4:
- administration rooms, the Head of School offices, staff offices, meeting rooms, research hub for higher-degree students/research assistants which forms part of the Centre for Learning Innovation.
